Investment Nerds is an investment-education community.

Everything provided through our website, application, learning resources, portfolio tools, market information, forums and official community spaces is intended to help people learn, discuss and develop their own financial judgement.

Learn together. Decide independently.

Investment Nerds provides general educational and informational content.

Nothing provided through Investment Nerds constitutes:

• personalised investment advice;
• financial planning;
• portfolio management;
• a recommendation to buy, sell or hold a particular investment;
• an offer or solicitation to purchase or sell a security or investment product;
• an invitation to participate in an investment scheme;
• an offer to manage another person's money; or
• individualised legal, tax, accounting or other regulated professional advice.

Content is not intended to recommend investments based on your income, assets, liabilities, age, financial objectives, risk tolerance, investment experience, family circumstances, employment, portfolio, tax position or other personal circumstances.

Unless separately authorised and licensed to perform a particular activity, Investment Nerds is not a bank, broker, dealer, fund manager, portfolio manager, investment adviser, financial planner, securities exchange, collective investment scheme or payment service.

Investment Nerds does not through the community:

• execute investment transactions;
• hold or manage members' investment assets;
• receive, hold, pool, transfer or invest members' investment money;
• manage members' portfolios;
• provide paid investment signals;
• operate investment pools or schemes; or
• authorise members or Contributors to perform regulated investment activities.

Using Investment Nerds does not create an adviser-client, broker-client, fiduciary, agency or portfolio-management relationship.

Investment decisions remain yours.

You should independently verify important information before acting on it and assess whether an investment is appropriate and lawful for your own circumstances.

Where your circumstances require personalised advice, obtain it independently from an appropriately qualified and, where required by law, licensed professional.

All investments involve risk, including possible loss of capital.

Investment Nerds does not guarantee:

• profits;
• income;
• investment returns;
• capital preservation;
• the success of an investment strategy; or
• any particular financial outcome.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Markets, interest rates, inflation, currency values, economic conditions, company performance and regulation can change.

Descriptions such as "guaranteed", "risk-free" or similar language should not be relied upon where an investment in fact carries risk.

Market data and other information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable.

Portfolio tools, projections, calculators and similar features produce informational or illustrative outputs based on data and assumptions. They are not investment recommendations or predictions.

Investment Nerds does not undertake to:

• monitor your portfolio;
• identify every investment risk;
• alert you to every relevant market change;
• verify every item of market data; or
• guarantee the accuracy or availability of tools.

Do not use Platform information as the sole basis for a time-sensitive or transactional decision.

Community posts may contain facts, estimates, assumptions, opinions, personal experience or errors.

Investment Nerds does not independently verify every statement posted by members and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or suitability of user-generated content.

A post about a security, company, product or service is not an Investment Nerds endorsement merely because it appears on the Platform.

Never invest solely because of a community discussion.

Experts, educators and creators may contribute educational information, but their professional status does not create permission to conduct regulated activity through Investment Nerds.

Contributors may not through the Platform:

• provide personalised investment recommendations;
• solicit investment clients;
• receive investment funds;
• manage members' money;
• execute transactions for members;
• sell investment products; or
• disguise investment solicitation as education.

Contributor views are their own unless Investment Nerds expressly states otherwise.

Where a Contributor has a material financial or commercial conflict relating to a subject they discuss, the conflict should be disclosed as required by the Community Guidelines.

Investment Nerds does not receive, hold, pool, transfer or invest members' investment money.

Never:

• send investment money to another community member;
• send investment money to an administrator, moderator or Contributor;
• give another person access to your brokerage, bank or mobile-money account;
• disclose passwords, PINs, one-time passwords or authentication codes;
• authorise a community member to trade on your behalf; or
• give another member custody or control of investment assets.

Investment Nerds will not ask for your passwords, PINs, authentication codes or financial-account credentials.

A legitimate payment for an Investment Nerds membership, course, certification or other Platform service, where such services are offered, is different from transferring money for investment. Use only payment methods and official channels identified by Investment Nerds.

Fraudsters may impersonate companies, administrators, moderators, educators or other members.

Do not treat a private message, unfamiliar link, unsolicited payment request, unofficial WhatsApp account or individual claiming to represent Investment Nerds as proof that a communication is genuine.

Verify important communications through official channels identified on the Investment Nerds website or application.

Investment Nerds does not authorise members to collect money on its behalf unless expressly stated through an official channel and supported by applicable transaction terms.

Report suspected scams, impersonation, requests for credentials or suspicious investment solicitations to support@investmentnerds.org.

Investment Nerds may reference brokers, exchanges, financial institutions, educators, websites, data providers or other services.

A link, listing or mention does not constitute:

• endorsement;
• investment recommendation;
• verification;
• confirmation of licensing status; or
• approval by Investment Nerds.

Independently verify a third party's identity, legitimacy, regulatory status and terms before using its services.

Investment Nerds may be accessed outside Ghana.

Information on the Platform is not represented as compliant with every law or regulatory requirement in every jurisdiction.

You are responsible for laws applicable to your location and circumstances. Investment Nerds may restrict features or services where reasonably necessary for legal or regulatory compliance.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Investment Nerds is not responsible for losses arising solely from:

• investment decisions made by members;
• market movements;
• reliance on inaccurate or incomplete user-generated content;
• third-party websites or services;
• member-to-member transactions;
• unauthorised communications or fraudulent impersonation; or
• failure to independently verify information.

Additional limitations, exclusions and risk allocation are set out in the Terms of Service.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

Investment Nerds seeks to promote responsible conduct and member safety, but it cannot guarantee that it will:

• identify every scam;
• prevent every fraudulent communication;
• correct every inaccurate statement;
• detect every conflict of interest;
• prevent every security incident; or
• continuously monitor every community interaction.

Report suspicious activity promptly.

This Disclaimer should be read together with:

• the Terms of Service;
• Privacy Policy;
• Community Guidelines;
• Expert & Creator Policy;
• Security & Responsible Disclosure Policy; and
• any other policy expressly incorporated into the Terms.

If this Disclaimer conflicts with the legally binding Terms of Service, the Terms govern to the extent permitted by applicable law.

By using Investment Nerds, you acknowledge that:

• the Platform is for general education and information;
• investing involves risk;
• community and Contributor content may be wrong or incomplete;
• Investment Nerds does not make personalised investment decisions for you; and
• you remain responsible for independently evaluating information and making your own investment decisions.
